For the second consecutive week, the Butler women's volleyball team remains at No. 15 in the NJCAA Division II Top 20 national poll, which was released Wednesday.
The Grizzlies (12-5 overall, 2-2 conference) had a six-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday in a three-set loss to No. 1 Cowley, but bounced back with a three-set road win at Longview, Mo., on Friday.
The Grizzlies are one of just three KJCCC schools currently ranked this week. Cowley remains ranked No. 1, while Johnson County moved up one spot to third. Dropping out of the polls was Kansas City Kansas after being ranked 18th last week.
Butler hosts Coffeyville on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., which is also Pack the Power Plant night. Free pizza and an autograph session will be held after the match. After facing Coffeyville, the Grizzlies will next face Labette on Monday at 6:30 p.m., then return home to face Longview, Mo., next Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
