After two weeks ranked 15th, the Butler women's volleyball team moved up two spots to 14th in the NJCAA Division II Top 20 national poll, which was released Wednesday.
The Grizzlies (13-5 overall, 3-2 conference) were victorious in their only match this week - a three-set win over Coffeyville on Wednesday.
Butler is one of four KJCCC schools ranked this week. For the fourth consecutive week, Cowley (17-0) is ranked No. 1, while Johnson County (18-4) remained ranked third. After receiving votes the previous week, Neosho County (17-5) moved into the top 20 poll ranked at 18th.
Butler hosts Longview (Mo.) on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. The Grizzlies will then head to Union, Mo., for the two-day East Central Invitational, which begins Friday. Butler will then host Fort Scott on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 6:30 p.m.
