Bonner selected to play in NJCAA All-Star Weekend in Florida

Butler sophomore Jamillah Bonner has been selected for the fourth annual NJCAA Coaches Association All-Star Weekend.
Bonner has been picked among the top 40 returning players in the country and will play with other top players during the all-star festival that will be held July 12-15 in Niceville, Fla. The 40 players will be broken into four teams and each team will play twice during the weekend.
Bonner, who as a freshman led Butler in scoring at 16.6 points per game and rebounding at 7.9 board per game, is the first Butler player to receive an invitation to the festival, which is in its fourth year.
She is a graduate of Wichita Southeast High School.
