Butler women’s basketball forward Kenzie Galliart and men’s track and field distance runner Kamohelo Ramatsebe have been selected as the White Eagle Credit Union Athletes of the Week for the week of January 13th through January 19th, 2025.

Kenzie Galliart (Women’s Basketball)

Galliart, a freshman from Overland Park, Kan., helped the Grizzlies to a 2-0 week as they defeated Cloud County and Cowley College to move to 8-4 in Jayhawk Conference action. Galliart scored in double figures in both games, shooting 60% from the field on the week. In the win over Cloud County Galliart finished with 12 points and five rebounds as Butler snagged a 62-57 win. On the road at Cowley Galliart tallied 14 points on 7-10 shooting, also pulling down seven rebounds.

Kamohelo Ramatsebe (Men’s Track and Field)

Ramatsebe, a freshman from Welkom, South Africa, placed first in the men's mile at Kansas State's Thane Baker Invite in Butler’s first indoor track and field action of the season. He ran the mile in 4:17.91 as he finished ahead of 14 other runners. Ramatsebe also qualified for the Indoor NJCAA Nationals in the men's 1000m as he placed fifth and ran it in 2:31.76.
