Butler volleyball middle blocker Ryann Hamilton and football linebacker Landon Boss have been selected as the White Eagle Credit Union Athletes of the Week for the week of October 14th through October 20th, 2024.

Ryann Hamilton (Volleyball)

Hamilton, a freshman from Overland Park, Kan., was a force defensively at the net for Butler in their two wins over Dodge City and Garden City. She finished with 10 blocks and five kills in a win over Dodge City and seven blocks and nine kills in the win at Garden City. On the season she ranks second in the KJCCC with 1.15 blocks per set.

Landon Boss (Football)

Boss, a sophomore from Osage City, Kan., played a big part in the Butler defense holding Garden City to just 21 points, their second lowest output of the season. Boss finished with eight total tackles (five solo), 1.5 tackles for loss (half a sack), a fumble recovery and a quarterback hurry. before the touchdown for eight yards, picking up a crucial first down.
