Butler volleyball setter Anja Milosevic and soccer defender Alayna Runck have been selected as the White Eagle Credit Union Athletes of the Week for the week of September 30th through October 6th, 2024.

Anja Milosevic (Volleyball)

Milosevic, a sophomore from Belgrade, Serbia, helped the Grizzlies to a 1-1 finish on the week with a close 3-2 loss on the road at Dodge City and a 3-0 sweep of Pratt at home. Milosevic facilitated the Grizzly offense in both matches, finishing with 44 assists in the loss at Dodge City and 23 assists in the win over Pratt, good for 8.38 assists per set. In the win over Pratt, Milosevic tallied her seventh double-double of the season with 23 assists and 13 digs. She also added nine digs in the Dodge City match. On the season, Milosevic leads the KJCCC with .62 service aces per set and ranks third with 7.71 assists per set.

Alayna Runck (Soccer)

Runck, a sophomore from Maize, Kan., helped the No. 6 ranked Grizzlies go 1-1 with a defeat of the Barton Cougars, 2-1, on the road as well as a 2-1 home loss to No. 9 KCKCC. Runck was a dominant force in the air and helped deny goal scoring chances against a strong south wind in the win at Barton. She also had a shot on goal in Butler's win in Great Bend.
