Butler soccer forward London Ingram and men’s basketball guard Josiah Kirkwood have been selected as the White Eagle Credit Union Athletes of the Week for the week of October 28th through November 3rd, 2024.
London Ingram (Soccer)
Ingram, a freshman from El Dorado, Ark., helped Butler to an opening round win over Seward in the Region 6 playoffs on Friday afternoon. Ingram netted two goals in the win, one in each half as Butler won 4-0. The goals ran Ingram’s season tally to 17 goals as she now ranks third in the KJCCC.

Josiah Kirkwood (Men’s Basketball)
Kirkwood, a freshman from Kansas City, Kan., helped the Grizzlies get off to a 2-0 start to the season with wins over Sauk Valley and No. 11 Indian Hills at the Meridian Credit Union Classic in Ottumwa, Iowa. Kirkwood scored in double figures in both games, notching 15 points in the season opener vs. Sauk Valley and 14 in the win over Indian Hills. Kirkwood drained a three with 0.7 on the clock vs. Indian Hills to put Butler ahead 87-86, securing the last second win for Butler.
