Kory Schoenfeld and Ainsley Campbell

Butler softball utility player Kory Schoenfeld and track and field middle distance runner Ainsley Campbell have been selected as the White Eagle Credit Union Athletes of the Week for the week of April 14th through April 20th, 2025.

Kory Schoenfeld (Softball)

Schoenfeld, a sophomore utility player from Wichita, helped the 16th ranked Grizzlies go 4-0 on the week with sweeps of Garden City and Dodge City. The sophomore hit .750 (9-12) with three multi-hit games. She held a team-high .824 on-base percentage, also walking five times on the week. While on the basepaths, Schoenfeld was 7-7 swiping bags. She finished with seven RBI, three doubles and scored nine runs while slugging 1.000.

Ainsley Campbell (Men’s Track & Field)

Campbell, a sophomore from Kingston, Jamaica, had a big performance at the 102nd Kansas Relays over the weekend in Lawrence. Campbell turned in a first place finish in the collegiate 800m with a time of 1:51.60. Campbell placed ahead of runners from Cloud County, Kansas, Highland, Western Illinois and Wartburg.
