Chloe Cardona and Ellie Randall

Butler softball utility player Chloe Cardona and pitcher Ellie Randall have been selected as the White Eagle Credit Union Athletes of the Week for the week of April 21st through April 27th, 2025.

Chloe Cardona (Softball)

Cardona, a sophomore from Fort Worth, Texas, helped the 16th ranked Grizzlies sweep Barton and Pratt on the way to claiming a share of the 2025 KJCCC Softball regular season championship. Cardona was 7-12 (.583) at the plate on the week finishing with three doubles and a triple while driving in seven runs and scoring six runs. She had three multi-hit games on the week.

Ellie Randall (Softball)

Randall, a freshman from Benton, helped Butler to a pair of victories on the week allowing just two runs in 8.0 innings of action as the Grizzlies clinched a share of the KJCCC regular-season title. The freshman tossed a complete game in Butler's 11-2 win over Barton, striking out three before working 3.0 innings in a win at Pratt allowing just one in addition to striking out two.
