Whitley Rhodes and Jaden Rose

Butler baseball outfielder Jaden Rose and pitcher Whitley Rhodes have been selected as the White Eagle Credit Union Athletes of the Week for the week of March 31st through April 6th, 2025.

Jaden Rose (Baseball)

Rose, a freshman from Overland Park, Kan., helped Butler to a 2-1 record on the week with a doubleheader sweep of Seward on Sunday and a loss to KCKCC. Across three games Rose finished 9-14 (.643) at the plate, slugging 1.143 with eight runs scored, four doubles, four runs driven in and a home run. He had multiple hits in each of Butler's games including a 4-5 performance in a 12-0 win over Seward. The freshman is hitting a team-high .391 on the year with 38 runs driven in and eight home runs. He has been named a White Eagle Credit Union Athlete of the Week twice this year.

Whitley Rhodes (Baseball)

Rhodes, a freshman pitcher from Hesston, heled Butler to a doubleheader sweep of Seward on Sunday. He tossed a complete game shutout in a game two win over Seward. Rhodes hurled 7.0 innings allowing just four hits and striking out six as Butler cruised to a 12-0 win
