Harlee Randall & Markellus Bass

Butler volleyball player Harlee Randall and Butler football player Markellus Bass have been selected as the White Eagle Credit Union Athletes of the Week for the week of October 26th through November 1st, 2025.

Harlee Randall (Women's volleyball)

Freshman Harlee Randall helped Butler go 2-0 over the final week of the regular season as the Grizzlies swept Cloud County before earning a thrilling five-set win over Hutchinson to secure a third-place finish in the KJCCC D1 volleyball regular season standings. For the week, Randall had 30 kills, including a career-high 19 against Hutchinson while hitting .429 on 56 total attacks across the two matches. Randall also added seven service aces, 13 digs, and two blocks.

Markellus Bass (Football)

Grizzly sophomore running back Markellus Bass continues to put up impressive numbers week after week, recording his sixth-straight 100-yard rushing game in a 27-12 loss at home last Saturday night against top-ranked Hutchinson. Bass finished the contest with 25 carries for 106 yards and one rushing touchdown while also catching one pass for 33 yards. Bass currently leads NJCAA Division 1 football in rushing yards per game at 127.3 yards per contest and is averaging 6.6 yards per carry.
