Harlee Randall and Hunter Rioux
Butler Volleyball's Harlee Randall and football's Hunter Rioux have been selected as the White Eagle Credit Union Athletes of the Week for the week of August 25th through August 31st.
Harlee Randall (Volleyball)
Randall, a freshman from Rosalia, Kan., helped the Grizzlies go 3-2 last week, including going 3-1 in the McCook Invitational. Randall had 52 kills over the five game stretch, averaging about 10.4 kills match. She also had 39 digs for an average of about 7.8 per match. Last week included wins over Lamar Community College, North Platte (Neb.), and North Central Texas.
Hunter Rioux (Football)
Rioux, a redshirt-freshman kicker from Austin, Tx., was a major reason why the Grizzlies were victorious over NEO on Satuday. Rioux finished the contest going 2-2 on field goals, from 35 and 45 yards out, respectively. Rioux was also 3-3 on extra point attempts. Rioux nailed his 45 yard field goal as time expired in the first half to give the Grizzlies a 10-7 advantage going into the break. He then made a 35 yard field goal to ultimatley ice the game with 44 seconds to go in the game, giving the Grizzlies a 27-20 lead.
