Elizabeth Hernandez and DeColdest Crawford

Butler women's cross country runner Elizabeth Hernandez and Butler football wide receiver DeColdest Crawford have been selected as the White Eagle Credit Union Athletes of the Week for the week of September 21st through September 27th, 2025.

Elizabeth Hernandez (Women's Cross Country)

Butler sophomore cross country runner Elizabeth Hernandez competed at the 6K Gans Creek Classic on Saturday in Columbia, Missouri. Hernandez finished in fifth place out of 238 participants, with a time of 22:11.8. Hernandez was the top junior college finisher. 

DeColdest Crawford (Football)

Butler sophomore wide receiver DeColdest Crawford had his best performance as a Grizzly in Saturday's 31-28 loss to Coffeyville. Crawford finished the evening with six catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Crawford had one touchdown in each half. He had a 26-yard receiving touchdown late in the first half, then late in the fourth quarter he received a 66-yard touchdown pass from Grizzlies quarterback Tate McNew.
