Izack Tiger Earns KJCCC Pitcher of the Week Honors

After a great performance in on the mound last week, Butler Baseball's Izack Tiger has been named the Jayhawk Conference Pitcher of the Week in week twelve.

Izack Tiger, the Grizzlies sophomore right-handed pitcher from Del City, Oklahoma had a dominant start for the Grizzlies on Thursday afternoon against the Colby Trojans. The Grizzlies ace threw a complete game in the 13-0 shutout victory, facing 23 batters giving up only two hits with eight strikeouts and only one walk. Tiger continues to grow the Butler Baseball program strikeout record with 205 career strikeouts and leads the KJCCC in strikeouts this season with 83. 

Tiger is the first Grizzly pitcher to earn pitcher of the week honors this season.
