Butler Football Opens Season Ranked 13th in NJCAA Preseason Poll

The Grizzlies checked in at No. 13 in the NJCAA Div. I preseason rankings.
The ranking comes after Butler was picked to finish third out of seven teams in the KJCCC Preseason Coaches Poll behind Hutchinson and Garden City.
A season ago the Grizzlies opened the season ranked 15th and were ranked among the nation's top-15 in 12 of the 14 weekly polls.
Butler is joined by two conference schools in the national rankings in Hutchinson (No. 1) and Garden City (No. 7).
The Grizzlies 2025 schedule features several top 15 opponents. They face three ranked teams in a row in No. 7 Garden City, No. 1 Hutchinson, & No. 2 Iowa Western in games 6, 7, & 8 respectively. After the Iowa Western game, they will be on the road at Dodge City, and they end their regular season schedule on the road at No. 15 Iowa Central. The full poll can be found below.
