Grizzly wide receiver Nolan Chambers delivered a career performance in Saturday's dramatic comeback win over number eight Iowa Central. The redshirt sophomore hauled in four receptions for 148 yards and two touchdowns, both coming in the final 2:25 of the game. On the first play of the Grizzlies' drive while trailing 24-14, Chambers broke free for a 61-yard touchdown to cut the Tritons' lead to 24-21. After the defense forced a quick three-and-out, Chambers struck again—this time with the eventual game-winning score at the 1:40 mark. The Grizzly defense sealed the victory with back-to-back sacks, forcing a turnover on downs and securing the 28-24 triumph in thrilling fashion.
Grizzly punter Mason Teague helped Butler defeat number eight Iowa Central 28-24 on Saturday to finish the regular season with a 7-3 overall record. Teague had five punts for 216 yards with a long of 67 yards, helping the Grizzlies play the field position game throughout the contest in the comeback victory. Teague also had one punt inside the 20 in the win.
