Bio
Zach Lindsey is entering his fourth season on the Grizzly football coaching staff ahead of the 2025 season.
He will serve as Director of Operations and Specialists coach during the 2025 season.
Born and raised in Eureka, Kansas, Lindsey is a graduate of Bluestem High School in Leon. He proudly follows in the footsteps of his grandfather, Ralph Shaw — a legendary high school football coach at Circle High School and a respected figure in Kansas football history. After high school, Coach Lindsey moved to North Carolina to pursue wrestling, eventually shifting his focus to public service by enrolling in the fire academy.
A veteran of the Iraq War, Coach Lindsey has served as a firefighter for over 21 years and currently holds the rank of Captain with Andover Fire-Rescue. He is a graduate of Butler Community College with an associate’s degree and earned his bachelor’s degree from Columbia Southern University.
Coach Lindsey brings a passion for mentorship, leadership, and player development. He resides in El Dorado, Kansas, with his wife, Kimmie, and their two sons, Lockton and Landry.
