Rexroat named KJCCC 'Defensive Player of the Week' for third time this season

In a matter of just four weeks, sophomore libero Caitlyn Rexroat has been named the KJCCC 'Defensive Player of the Week' a total of three times this season.

Rexroat, sophomore from Lansing, KS, again had a strong week defensively for the No. 16-ranked Grizzlies in their four wins. Rexroat chalked up 26 digs in Butler's KJCCC win over Hutchinson. She followed that up with another 20 digs in the match against Neosho and finished the week with a total of 65. She also had three service aces on the week brining her average to .5 aces per set this season. Rexroat is also averaging seven digs per set this season and is the heart of the Butler defense.
