Benning named KJCCC Offensive Player of the Week

In the final week of the regular season, Jaryn Benning has been named Offensive Player of the Week, an honor she has now been selected for three times this season.

Jaryn Benning, junior outside hitter from Topeka, KS, had a big final week in regular season helping Butler cap off an undefeated KJCCC season with two road wins. Benning finished the week with 24 kills hitting .573 on the week. She posted 11 against No. 14-ranked Seward and had 13 in the final match of the regular season against Garden City. Benning committed just one attack error in her 40 attempts. 

This is Benning's third KJCCC honor this season and this now marks the twelfth time a Grizzly volleyball player has earned KJCCC Player of the Week honors this season. Butler went just two weeks, week three and week seven, without getting at least one player voted for honors.
