EL DORADO, Kan. – Butler volleyball suffered a 3-0 (17-25, 15-25, 18-25) home loss to the No. 7 ranked Colby Trojans on Saturday afternoon at the Power Plant.
The loss is Butler's (5-6, 1-2 KJCCC) third in a row and second in a row in conference action. Colby (9-1, 2-0) has won five straight this season and four straight over the Grizzlies going back to the 2023 season. The game was Butler's fifth consecutive against a ranked opponent.
Butler hit just .096 in the match with sophomore Sarah Sullivan's eight kills pacing the Grizzlies. Sophomore Anja Milosevic led Butler with a double-double of 15 assists and 10 digs.
Colby's Karlotta Kattai had a match-high 14 kills while Camila Canedo finished with 13 digs.
Butler returns to action on Tuesday as they travel to Liberal for a match with Seward at 6 p.m.
