Five Grizzlies Earn All-KJCCC Honors
COLBY, Kan. – Five members of the Butler Grizzlies volleyball squad were awarded all-conference honors.
COLBY, Kan. – Five members of the Butler Grizzlies volleyball squad were awarded all-conference honors.
Sophomore Ryann Hamilton was the lone Grizzly to earn First Team All-KJCCC, while Bella Holcomb, Miami Kirksay, Sophia Neihouse, and Harlee Randall all earned second team honors.
Hamilton ended the season third on the team in kills with 249 on a .302 hitting percentage, while adding 124 block assists, second in the conference.
Holcomb had 944 assists over the course of the season which was third in the KJCCC. Holcomb's 944 assists this season has her in fourth place for the most assists in a season in school history. Wesley Chapel, Fla. native Miami Kirksay had 226 kills and 278 digs on the season. Sophia Neihouse had 90 block assists and 196 kills, along with earning NJCAA Division. 1 Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week earlier in the season. Freshman Harlee Randall was the team leader in kills with 283.
