The Grizzlies (22-14, 16-6 KJCCC) avenge their earlier season sweep to Colby (24-21, 15-8) with a sweep of their own and move up to third place in the Jayhawk Conference standings, one game back from second place Dodge City.
Game 1 (5 inn.) – Butler 8, Colby 0
Butler freshman pitcher and McPherson, Kansas native Addison Chapman has had a number of memorable moments thus far through her freshman campaign, but Saturday's perfect game was one to remember. Chapman threw all five innings and allowed zero hits, zero runs, zero walks, and struck out four Colby batters. Chapman has been a huge boost to this Grizzly squad in both the circle and at the plate.
Chaman improves to 8-3 on the season in the circle for the Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies scored five runs through the first two innings, and capped game one off with three more runs in the 5th to run rule Colby in five innings.

Game 2 (5 inn.) Butler 10, Colby 2
In game two of Saturday's doubleheader, Colby amassed seven hits but managed only two runs, while the Grizzlies recorded 11 hits on 10 runs.
Butler started the contest up 8-0 through the first three innings, but Colby scored their first run of the day after a bunt from Brooklynn Ekker scored Briley Christensen.
Addison Chapman homered to centerfield in the bottom half of the fourth to go back up 9-1. Colby responded in the top half of the 5th after an RBI single, but the Grizzlies put the game to bed in the bottom half of the inning after Kate Free's RBI single scored Haely Hagemann, ending the game in another five-inning run rule victory.
Four different Grizzlies hit home runs in game two, including: Haely Hagemann, Lizzy Lassley, Addison Chapman, and Kyler Demel.
Anistyn Marcotte (W, 6-4) earned the start and the win for the Grizzlies. Marcotte threw four innings and allowed four hits, one earned run, and struck out two batters against 17 batters.
Though Saturday was sophomore day, Butler still has three more home stands remaining on the schedule.
Next up: The Grizzlies will host Dodge City on Wednesday at 1 and 3 p.m. from Doug Chance Field.
